The Silver Bullet at Knotts Berry Farm
Knotts Berry Farm, California is one of the most visited amusement parks in the whole United States, and for good reason. It has over 10 amazing roller coasters, none of which are more intense than the 55 mile per hour experience known as The Silver Bullet.
The Silver Bullet was built in 2004, and has been entertaining long lines of guests ever since. Featuring over 3,000 feet of steel tracks, the 2 train, 8 car ride provides thrill seekers with over 3 Gs of force and a jaw dropping 109 feet of vertical drop. Not only does The Silver Bullet feature a full vertical loop, but it also transforms into two separate cobra rolls combined with a full Zero-G barrel roll, all at a maximum speed of 55 miles per hour.
The Silver Bullet has been featured in popular culture and movies such as 2007’s Knocked Up, where the main characters not only experience the fun, but also the terror of the ride’s intense loops. The Silver Bullet is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 8, as the height limit is 4 feet, 6 inches. Also, the ride is quite intense, so it may not be suited for anyone who is afraid of roller coasters, of anyone who has a pre-existing heart condition or health issues.
