Anaheim, California is home to one of the most popular tourist attractions in the western United States. Disneyland originally opened in 1955 and was conceptualized by Walt Disney to bring about his plan of wholesome family entertainment for individuals across the globe. Today, the amusement park has been transformed into an entire resort comprised of hotels, restaurants, shopping venues, and two amusement parks.

Disneyland is open year-round and is often most crowded during Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, as well as spring break and summer. The park is typically open from 8 in the morning until midnight during peak times of the year and closes earlier during off-peak times. California Adventure, the neighboring amusement park, follows the same schedule as Disneyland.

Inside the park, visitors will encounter a variety of attractions including thrill rides, rides for children, shows, and food from around the world. Those who wish to enter the park on several days will find convenience in reserving rooms at the Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, or the newly remodeled Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Guests who reserve rooms will not only be located near the attractions but will also be exempt from the $15.00 parking fee that most guests are required to pay.
