Steakhouse 55 is in the Disneyland Resort area in Anaheim, California, and was named for the year that the park opened. The steakhouse reflects that era, with plenty of good food, space, and black and white photos of days gone by. There is a private area which can be reserved, called the Oak Room, which seats up to 24 in a party, and the restaurant is rated as four stars in the Orange County Register. Both self-parking and valet parking are available for those in the hotel resort area. Steakhouse 55 is open seven days a week, and it serves breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Dinner hours are from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The breakfast menu includes delicious choices such as buttermilk pancakes, French toast, and breakfast burritos. They also offer a variety of eggs; everything from omelets to Eggs Benedict. For those who prefer something else, there are muffins, fruit, granola, cereal, and even smoked salmon on a bagel. The dinner menu has a vast array of seafood, including lobster, shrimp, fish, and scallops. In addition, the menu has steak, pork, poultry, and even lamb. There are traditional favorites such as mac and cheese, grilled cheese, and burgers, along with a variety of vegetables to choose from, including potatoes and asparagus; there is pasta with chicken or salmon as well. There are soups and salads along with appetizers to enjoy with dinner, topped off with a choice of hot or cold beverages.
