Knott’s Soak City

Knott’s Soak City is the waterpark associated with Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. Knott’s Soak City is open only through the summer months. There is a weekend before Memorial Day that is opened, and two weekends after Labor Day that it is opened. However, it is opened on a daily basis from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Each day it opens at 10:00 a.m., but it closes at either 5:00, 6:00, or 7:00 p.m. depending on the day and time of the season.

Knott’s Soak City is the ultimate waterpark, with the average water temperature staying around 74-76 degrees. With plenty of slides, a kiddie pool, a lazy river, a tidal wave pool, and water toys, it is ideal for families with kids of all ages. The waterslides include a six-lane speed slide, multiple tube slides, a multi-person raft slide, and open drop slides. Knott’s lazy river stretches 1/3 mile, and is known as the widest and one of the longest lazy rivers in the world. Finally, Tidal Wave Bay is a 750,000 gallon pool, where visistors can relax when the waves are off, and get up to surf when the waves begin. Inner tubes and life jackets are provided free to all guests.

Outside food is not allowed in the park. The waterpark is equipped with its own food vendors, selling hotdogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, salads, and pizza. There are also beverage and snack vending machines located throughout the park.
