The Jedi Training Academy at Disneyland is a live-action show is recommended for kids to pre-teens. The Jedi Training Academy features several children from the audience to put on the tradition Jedi robes and train with a true Jedi master. The children will recite the sacred Jedi Oath, learn ancient battle techniques and learn how to fight with their light sabers. All of this from a true Jedi Master. The children will also have the chance to defeat the Stormtroopers lead by Darth Vader himself, and save the day.

Here are a few tips to help a child get chosen.

– Have the child hold a homemade sign saying, “Pick Me” or something similar. As children holding such signs are typically picked over those that are not.
– Stand as close to the front as possible, giving those who pick the volunteers ample time to see the child.
– Have the child dress up in a Star Wars themed outfit. Either wearing a Star Wars shirt or in a full Jedi costume, these children are almost always chosen to be in the Academy.

The Jedi Training Academy takes place on the Tomorrowland Terrace Stage, near the Star Tours. Allowing for simulated, interstellar flight before and after the Jedi Training Academy shows. The Jedi Training Academy chooses children volunteers from the audience, ages 4-12. Show times may vary.
