The Blue Bayou Restaurant is known as one of the most popular restaurants in Disneyland for a place to enjoy both Cajun and Creole cuisine. Since 1967, guests have enjoyed dining in the setting for a location that sits next to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction. Guests can enjoy the views of the water and watch the boats pass by while at their tables.

The decor of the Blue Bayou Restaurant allows guests to feel as if they are dining under the stars on the patio of a mansion in New Orleans. The ambiance is romantic and intimate with candles lit on each table, as well as the sounds of frogs and crickets nearby. The establishment was originally intended to offer live entertainment, but the high quality of food and ambiance was enough to attract guests each year.

The Blue Bayou Restaurant is open from 11:30 a.m. to 3:55 p.m. for lunch, as well as 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for dinner. Reservations must be made at least one day in advance for guests, but can be made up to 60 days prior.

Parking for the restaurant is available at Disneyland’s Mickey & Friends Parking Structure. Trams are available to transport visitors to Downtown Disneyland before entering the park. Visitors of the Blue Bayou Restaurant must purchase entry into the park before dining at the establishment.

Hotels close to the restaurant include Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, Hotel Menage, Park Vue Inn, and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.
